13 years after their relationship, Surbhi Chandna and her boyfriend Karan Sharma got married on March 2. They tied the knot in Rajasthan in a close-knit wedding. Their ceremony lasted for two long days and according to Surbhi in her new interview, the newly-married couple did not sleep on either of the days.

Being in a relationship for as long as 13 years, Surbhi feels like she and Karan are still chilling and would go out for a drive any moment. “It hasn’t sunk in yet that I’m married,” she told Times Now. It is when the two take on responsibilities that they feel they are actually married, Surbhi said, being thankful that the couple could spend quality time because it was a close-knit function.

The pre-wedding

The first video from Surbhi’s wedding celebrations came from her mehendi ceremony, which was followed by haldi. She and Karan were decked in shades of green for mehendi. Surbhi had donned a chartreuse green lehenga with matching dupatta and designer blue v-neck blouse while he went for dark green embroidered patiala suit, also with a dupatta. Surbhi also wore heavy jhumkas, nathni and pearl bangles to complete her look. The video of their entry for the mehendi ceremony went viral on the internet. It was their first look before the wedding.

After mehendi and haldi ceremony on day one, the couple took their saat phere and followed it up with tuxedo night on day two. The idea behind tuxedo night was to do something unusual on their big day. The couple’s roka ceremony had taken place in September 2023.
