Just a few days back, we at OTTplay reported that star heroine, Pooja Hegde has walked out of Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram which is being directed by Trivikram Srinivas. We also reported that as Pooja's role was changed once the script went through a lot of changes, the star heroine decided to back out of the project.
Naturally, the second lead, Sreeleela was promoted to Pooja's place, and Meenakshi Chaudhary was roped in as the second lead. Now that the media in Tollywood started reporting that Pooja Hegde's career is over in Telugu, the star heroine has bounced back and is in talks for a biggie.
Sometime back, we also revealed to our readers that director Gopichand Malineni has teamed up with Ravi Teja for the fourth time and he is on the lookout for a star heroine to play the female lead. Well, the news is that he has approached Pooja Hegde to play a key role in his film.
Gopichand Malineni has apparently met Pooja in Mumbai and has also narrated the script to her. We need to see if she takes up this project. Pooja has never been paired with Ravi Teja in her career and it will be really great to see her romancing the Mass Maharaja. Apart from this film, Pooja Hegde has no other film in Telugu. In Hindi, she has one film which will be announced soon but there is no confirmation on this.
On the other hand, Guntur Kaaram is going through all sorts of problems as the film's cameraman PS Vinod has walked out of the film due to the creative differences. The shoot has been halted and Mahesh has left for a small holiday. In such a time, we need to see how the makers finish the project in time and clear the film from issues within the time.
Well, all this has only worked in the favor of Pooja Hegde as she is in talks for a biggie and knowing the combo of Gopichand and Ravi Teja, she already has a winner in her hands. Watch this space to know more updates on Pooja's upcoming films.
