Porattu Nadakam - The trailer is based on a sequence of events that take place in the village of Gopalapuram, which is situated near the boundary between Kerala and Karnataka.
The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film, Porattu Nadakam, dropped a trailer today (October 13), a week ahead of its theatrical release. It shows the gist of the movie's plot, hinting at a full-fledged family entertainer in theatres. It was recently reported that October 18 is when the film would be released on the big screen. If it opens on the scheduled date, it will screen in theatres alongside Bougainvillaea, the eagerly awaited film by Amal Neerad.
The film portrays itself as a hilarious examination of certain major social events, not just in Gopalapuram but throughout Kerala, as demonstrated in the 2-minute and 29-second video. The trailer gives a brief overview of the movie's plot and characters. In the interim, it does allude to a satirical story.
A cow named Manikutty opens the footage by narrating a brief overview of all the main characters in the movie. It reveals that the story revolves around a marriage and an unforeseen incident that causes humorous mayhem in the town. Porattu Nadakam is based on a sequence of events that take place over 21 days in the village of Gopalapuram, which is situated near the boundary between Kerala and Karnataka. In the trailer, a few of the characters seem to occasionally speak Kannada.
In this movie, Saiju Kurup plays the main character. Bharathanatyam, his most recent theatrical release, is currently available for streaming on Manorama Max and Amazon Prime Video. Porattu Nadakam, which is helmed by Naushad Saffron, takes its name from a well-known traditional art form from Palakkad. Other well-known actors in this film are Dharmajan Bolgatty, Ramesh Pisharody, Rahul Madhav, Nirmal Palazhy, and Arjun Vijayan.
The supporting cast includes Aiswarya Mithun, Jijina Radhakrishnan, Sooraj Thelakkad, Chithra Nair, Sunil Sukhada, and Chitra Shenoy. The screenplay for this film was written by Suneesh Varanad. The movie is financed by Vijayan Pallikkara.
