Poonam Pandey’s Lock Upp co-contestants, including Munawar Faruqui paid their condolences
News of Poonam Pandey’s sudden demise left everyone stunned. The 32-year-old fainted on Thursday, February 1 and by February 2, she was pronounced dead by cervical cancer. Her manager confirmed the news. Still in disbelief, many celebrities, especially her Lock Upp co-contestants and stars Kangana Ranaut and Karan Kundrra came forward to pay their condolences.

The host of Lock Upp shared the news as her Instagram story and captioned it, “This is so sad, losing a young woman to cancer is a catastrophe. Om Shanti.”

Karan Kundrra, who was a jailer on the show, spoke to Zoom about the same. Leaving the interview, he said, “Oh my god! I had no idea about this. How did this happen? It is a very sad and heartbreaking news. I just need to call some people now.”

Pooja Bhatt was also left in disbelief. Like Kangana, she found it devastating that Poonam died at a young age. The actress, last seen on Bigg Boss 17 to show her support for Mannara Chopra, shared her deepest condolences to Poonam’s friends, family members and everyone affected.

Munawar Faruqui and Poonam’s Lock Upp co-contestants Ali Merchant, Karanvir Bohra and Tehseen Poonawalla, who eventually became her friends, also expressed disbelief on hearing the news. They shared their own experiences with Poonam while paying their condolences.

Initially, the netizens were left in disbelief about Poonam being no more. Later, trolls joined in and left brutal comments on learning about the actress’ demise. Poonam died in her hometown Kanpur and more section of netizens are recalling her last precious moments with street kids.
