Poonam Pandey’s bodyguard of 11 years, Amin Khan, refuses to believe that she is no more. He has in fact reached out to her sister for a confirmation on the same. The bodyguard also stated that Poonam was fine when he met her on January 31. Amin gave an interview to ETimes, where his reaction was recorded firsthand.

Amin’s reaction

Amin refuses to believe that Poonam is dead. He has reached out to her sister and claims that she has not responded to him either. Amin got to know the news of Poonam’s sudden demise through media portals.

Hale and hearty till January 31

Poonam’s bodyguard further mentioned that they were together on January 31 and they did a photoshoot in Mumbai. He mentioned that Poonam always looked fit and healthy. She did not share any details about her health with him and he did not notice her in ill health either.

Poonam was taking extra care

Amin shared that Poonam had cut down on her drinking habits and was taking extra care of herself. She had hired a personal trainer as well to remain healthy.

Sister’s confirmation to Poonam’s PR

According to NDTV, Poonam’s PR got a call from her sister to confirm the demise. The family is yet to share details about Poonam’s last rites.

Poonam’s demise

News of Poonam’s demise broke out on February 2, when her manager revealed that she died of cervical cancer. Reports further suggest that Poonam was in her hometown Lucknow, when she fainted on February 1. She was being treated but passed away on Friday morning.

On the work front

Poonam had come to limelight in 2011 after she promised to strip if India won the World Cup. Even though they did, the BCCI forbade Poonam from keeping her promise. After working in a few movies, Poonam was last seen in Kangana Ranaut-hosted Lock Upp, which streamed in 2022.
