The news of Poonam Pandey’s demise sent shockwaves across the internet. The actress died of cervical cancer on Friday morning (February 2). Her manager confirmed the same and some time after, Poonam’s sister confirmed the news to Poonam’s PR. However, ever since, Poonam Pandey’s family members and her team both have not been available. They have either switched off their phones or are unreachable.

Poonam’s sister unreachable after confirming the news

Poonam Pandey’s sister confirmed news of her demise with Poonam’s PR. However, when people tried to reach her again, her phone was switched off. Not just Poonam’s sister but her whole family is unreachable since confirming the news of Poonam’s demise.

Poonam’s bodyguard said the same thing

Previously, Poonam’s bodyguard Amin Khan also shared that he has been trying to reach Poonam’s sister to confirm the news but she has not read the message or responded to it. Amin refused to believe that the actress is no more, since he accompanied Poonam for a shoot on January 31 itself and she was fine then. Thus, like everybody, he tried to call Poonam’s sister for a confirmation but to no avail.

Poonam’s team unreachable as well

While her family members were unreachable, surprisingly a few members of Poonam’s team also could not be contacted. Their calls also went to unreachable and thus, there was no further details on Poonam’s demise and her last rites.

The official statements

Poonam’s manager had confirmed the news of Poonam’s death. She shared that the actress died of cervical cancer. When all reached out to people closest to Poonam to confirm the news, only Poonam’s PR confirmed getting a call from Poonam’s sister, confirming the actress’ demise. Ever since, neither of them were reachable. The PR is also waiting for some confirmation to release official statement on her last rites.
