Pooja Hegde has revealed that she did not get work after working with Hrithik Roshan in her debut film, Mohenjo Daro. The movie had tanked at the Box Office. The actress shared that it was the lowest point of her career back then.

While talking to BollywoodLife, Pooja revealed that she went out of work for a year after doing Mohenjo Daro, which featured her opposite Hrithik Roshan. The actress revealed that even though she had six hit films in a row, there was a time when she faced her lowest phase – when her debut film just didn’t work.

Pooja’s career took a turn for the good when she got a film opposite Jr. NTR. Titled Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, it marked the starting of her good run at the movies.

The actress was last seen in RadheShyam opposite Prabhas. While the film did not work at the Box Office, their pairing was one of the most awaited among fans.

Currently, Pooja will be seen opposite Salman Khan in his upcoming movie, Bhaijaan. Previously titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, she was finalized as the lead actress of the film long back. Apart from Pooja, the movie also stars Bigg Boss 13 famed Shehnaaz Gill. Bhaijaan will mark Shehnaaz’s Bollywood debut. The Punjabi singer-actress caught Salman’s eye when she openly flirted with him on Bigg Boss 13 stage. The two have grown strong since the show. More recently, Salman was seen showing his support to Shehnaaz when she had come to Bigg Boss 15.

Bhaijaan also reportedly features Jassie Gill and Palak Tiwari in pivotal roles. The film was originally directed by Farhad Samjhi but according to reports, Salman himself is ghost directing the film. Reports also state that Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal, who were supposed to be a part of the film, have been replaced by Abhimanyu Dassani and Meezan Jafferi.

Apart from Bhaijaan, Pooja is also a part of Ranveer Singh’s Cirkus with Rohit Shetty and Vijay Deverakonda’s Telugu film, Jana Gana Mana.
