This morning, people woke up to the shocking news of gunshots being fired outside Salman Khan's Mumbai residence. In the wee hours of April 14, two unidentified men on bikes fired three gunshots in the air right outside Salman's residence in Bandra. Following the same, Mumbai Police started the investigation on this matter. Reacting to this shocking incident, actress Pooja Bhatt expressed her concern over the superstar's safety and those living in Bandra.
Pooja Bhatt took to her official X account and reacted to the firing incident outside Salman Khan's Mumbai residence. While speaking about the same, the actress also highlighted robbery incidents in Bandra.
"Horrific and condemnable. If this can happen with a police van parked outside the Khan residence for protection then it is fair to say that safety is an illusion. Need more stringent surveillance in Bandra for certain. Robberies were rife a while ago and now a shoot out? Scary. (sic)," her tweet read.
Meanwhile, speaking with CNN News 18, Salim Khan broke his silence on gunshots fired outside his son Salman Khan's residence in Bandra, Mumbai. "There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity, there is no need to worry," he said. However, Salman is yet to address this serious matter. For those who are unaware, the superstar has got death threats from gangsters Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi.
As far as his last public appearance is concerned, Salman greeted his fans on the occasion of Eid from his Bandra residence. A sea of fans gathered outside Galaxy Apartments to catch a glimpse of their favourite star. On the work front, Salman will next be seen in filmmaker A R Murugadoss' film Sikandar. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on Eid 2025.
