A couple of days back, the Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 17 reached its grand finale with Munawar Faruqui being declared as the ultimate winner. Munawar beat his close competitor Abhishek Kumar by a narrow margin to lift the much-coveted trophy. And once he won the trophy, he brought it to his home in Dongri (Mumbai) amidst much fanfare that saw a huge crowd which had gathered to receive him.

The entire video of Munawar’s ‘homecoming’, which was captured by a drone, became viral in no time. The latest update is that the police officials have now filed a FIR (First Information Report) against the person who had used the said drone to shoot the video.

Munawar Faruqui was seen holding his trophy as he stood on the sunroof of his car, which was witnessed by an ocean of his fans. As per a report in Free Press Journal, a police constable named Nitin Shinde (who was on his patrolling duty with PSI Tausif Mulla) informed the police station after he saw a huge crowd near Char Nal in the evening.

Amidst the huge crowd, Nitin Shinde spotted a person (named Arbaaz Yusuf Khan) who was using a drone camera to shoot the entire event. Seeing that, both, Shinde and PSI Mulla asked him whether he had all the required permissions to shoot with his drone camera. To which, Khan admitted that he did not have the mandatory authorization to use the drone camera. Post that, the police officials confiscated Khan's drone camera.

The police officials also eventually filed a case against Arbaaz Yusuf Khan on the grounds of violating the orders which had been issued by Mumbai Police Commissioner regarding drone usage.

For the unversed, the Mumbai Police Commissioner had issued a ban on flying objects, which also included drone cameras, with the only exceptions being the ones used for aerial surveillance purposes by the police officials.
