Mithai will replace the serial at 6 pm
The Bengali TV show Pilu will end just 10 months after its beginning. A new serial, Nim Fuler Modhu, is going to come up in Zee Bangla on December 14. As Pilu bids goodbye to its fans, Mithai will be telecasted in its slot at 6 pm. Sunday was the last day of the shooting of Pilu, and the entire Pilu family became emotional.
Along with the serial, Bengali television got a new actress, Megha Daw. She debuted in the serial straight from the Zee Bangla dance reality show, Dance Bangla Dance. She became very emotional on the last day. That she would have no call time and no more going to the set of Pilu made her tearful. She wrote an open letter on social media. She shared a number of photos of the last day of shooting and some more photos from the earlier days.
Megha also thanked the Zee Bangla team and the Pilu team for this beautiful journey and said, “I will remember it forever.” The actress further added, “I learned many things which will help me to move forward. I could not have become Pilu without you and your guidance. I will be grateful to you forever. Lots of love to you all. All of you please be on my side just like that and keep on loving me. And lastly, thanks to my audience and my fan pages, who showered love on my journey and made me the next-door girl. I never thought I would get such love and blessings from all. I will miss everything, whatever happened from those Purulia days to today. But lastly, I would say Megha will miss Pilu a lot… forever.”
In the serial, actor Gourab Roychoudhury was opposite Megha. Another hit couple of the serial was Idika-Dhruba. Many netizens think that the chemistry between Ranja and Mallar overwhelmed even the lead couple. Pilu will be telecast for the last time on November 13 at 6 PM.
