Phulki tops this week’s TRP chart with Neem Phuler Modhu securing the second position

The weekly TRP result came a day late due to the Eid celebration. The ratings have been very low for the last few weeks. Television experts attribute this to the trend of watching serials on OTT. Some people have also blamed piracy for this situation. 

Before coming to TV, the episodes became viral on Facebook, where Phulki, Neem Phuler Modhu, and other serials had millions of views. This week, three Zee Bangla serials, Kar kache Koi Moner Kotha, Astami, and Alor Kole, will end their journeys. Star Jalsha's Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha ended this week. Several new serials will take place. 

Phulki is the topper this week also, getting 6.7. The chemistry between Rohit and Phulki, the new romance in Paromita's life, and Rudra getting unmasked, have caused a good result. Neem Phuler Modhu is the second, getting 6.5. Raja Goswami has arrived as a third person between Parna and Srijan. Hopefully, this tension will increase the TRP. There have been lots of trolls about the vermillion ceremony in Kon Gopone Mon Bheseche. The serial is third with a score of 6.3. Kotha is the fourth. But Geeta LLB did not get a place in the top five. Jagaddhatri is in the fifth position. 

Anurager Chowa is the oldest mega serial that is running on Bengali television right now. Surya and Deepa are giving a good fight to their newer counterparts. They retained the sixth position. Geeta LLB's score was reduced as soon as Ke Prothom Kache Esechi started its journey.

Aparajita Adhya made her mark on the TRP even in the last phase. Her serial, Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha, not only retained the slot but beat even Geeta LLB this week. 

Puber Moyna and Diamond Didi Jindabad will start on Zee Bangla next week. Since the new show of Crazy Ideas is not yet ready, Diamond Didi and Mithijhora will be telecast from 9 PM to 10.30 PM. So, the slots will be of 45 minutes. It is not yet clear how the TRP will be affected by this change. 

The Zee Bangla serials also stream on Zee5 and you can also watch them on OTTplay Premium. Meanwhile, the Star Jalsha serials stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
