Fighter duo Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone unite before taking off for shoot

Fighter is directed and produced by Siddharth Anand. It's set for a September 2022 release.

For a long time, fans have been waiting to see Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in a single frame. Finally, it's happening as the actors have united for Siddharth Anand's upcoming directorial titled Fighter. The announcement was made in January this year and now the film is all set to go on floors soon. Hrithik took to his Instagram page and shared a few photos posing with Deepika and Siddharth which have gone viral in no time.

Hrithik and Deepika make for a stylish duo and while sharing the photos, the Super 30 actor dropped a hint about the filming of Fighter. He wrote, "This gang is ready for take off. #Fighter."

Viacom18 Studios will be presenting Fighter which is touted to be India’s first aerial action franchise. With this film, Siddharth will be making his debut as a producer under his home banner Marflix.

While announcing the film, Hrithik had shared a statement on his birthday which read as "It is an honour for me as an actor to introduce and be a part of Mamta and Sid Anand’s first production Fighter for Marflix!” The actor further mentioned that the film is a special one for him as it deepens his association with a director and a friend whose journey he has witnessed “..from being an AD on my sets to directing me in Bang Bang and War.”

Hrithik’s caption further read, “And now as he turns producer for Fighter I can’t seem to contain my excitement. This one is pure adrenaline for the heart and mind. So here goes! Boom! Thank you Sid for believing in me and making me your co-passenger yet again. Here’s to your journey towards the sky!"

Fighter is slated to release on September 22, 2021.
