The latest horror comedy, Phone Bhoot finally hit the big screens on November 4, 2022. The film, starring Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, and Siddhant Chaturvedi, marks the Hindi movie directorial debut of Gurmmeet Singh. Now, after its theatrical run for a few weeks, Phone Bhoot will soon be making its OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Yes, a lot of movies and series made by Excel Entertainment, which is owned by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, have been on the streaming service.

In Phone Bhoot Katrina Kaif plays a ghost who tries to get two bad ghost hunters, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi, to help her with a business idea. However, everything goes wrong for them when the creepy ghost discloses what her purpose is.

The film clashed at the box office with Janhvi Kapoor's Mili and Sonakshi Sinha's and Huma Qureshi's Double XL.

On the other hand, Katrina Kaif is now working alongside Salman Khan on the production of the third instalment of the Tiger film series. She will also be in Merry Christmas which will be directed by Sriram Raghavan and stars Vijay Sethupathi, and Jee Le Zaraa, which will be directed by Farhan Akhtar and features Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and herself.

Siddhant Chaturvedi will star with Malavika Mohanan in the action movie Yudhra and with Ananya Panday and Adarsh Gourav in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.

Ishaan Khatter had also announced that he will play the role of an army tank commander in the upcoming war movie Pippa which is based on the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The war film features Mrunal Thakur as the female lead.

Talking about Phone Bhoot Jackie Shroff and Sheeba Chaddha have supporting roles in the horror comedy. The film is written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath.

The film is likely to stream on Amazon Prime Video within two months of its theatrical run.
