One of the eagerly awaited 2023 Malayalam films, Philip's has made its way into the digital space. The feel-good family drama is streaming on Amazon Prime, Manorama Max, and Simply South. The makers had announced earlier this week that the film would be available on these platforms starting January 19.

Philip's was supposed to come out in November, but it was moved to December 1. The majority of reviews for the film were positive, and the cast in particular received recognition for its simple narrative, emotional aspects and impulsive humour, which struck a chord with the viewers.

Alfred Kurian Joseph, who was the co-writer of Anna Ben-starrer Helen, has directed Philip’s. Alfred and Helen’s director, Mathukutty Xavier, have penned this film, which is Mukesh’s 300th movie.

Noble Babu Thomas, Innocent, Quinn Vipin, Navani Devanand, Asha Madathil, and Tamil actor Charle are also featured in notable roles in Philip's. Audiences were drawn into theatres by the film's relatable conversations and young cast. Given his track record of credible acting in a range of comedic dramas, Mukesh is a perfect fit for the role of Philip Abraham.

Philip's revolves around Bengaluru-based widower Philip Abraham, whose fears and anxieties have a detrimental effect on his relationship with his children. Because of his old-school parenting style, there seems to be a significant conflict between Philip and his daughter, a teenager going through a rebellious phase. He becomes estranged from his daughter, being vocal about how easy life is for kids these days and how unappreciative they are.

Philip's family is upended by unexpected events in the meantime. They need to overcome these obstacles and live their lives more fully again. The crux of the film is whether the family split up or got closer amidst all these problems.

The soundtracks for Philip’s have been composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. Suvin K Varkey and Prasobh Krishna have produced the film under Little Big Films’ banner.
