The release date of Malayalam actor Mukesh’s 300th film Philip’s has been officially announced, along with a new poster. Directed by Alfred Kurian Joseph and co-written by Mathukutty Xavier, the comedy-drama movie is slated to hit the cinemas on November 24. Alfred and Mathukutty were the makers of the National Award-winning film Helen. The Mukesh-starrer also features Innocent, Noble Babu Thomas, Quinn Vipin and Navani Devanand in pivotal roles.
Makers of Philip’s have announced the film’s release date with a new poster
Director Alfred took to his social media handles to share the release date of Philip’s, along with a new poster of the film. The vibrant new poster features Mukesh, Noble Babu Thomas, Navani Devanand and Quinn Vipin, hinting at an upcoming comedy that promises lots of entertainment and fun.
Philip’s plot, cast and crew
Going by the teaser, Mukesh appears to be playing the role of a father, named Philip Abraham, and the film revolves around him and his family. Earlier, Alfred had shared the teaser of the film on social media. Expressing his excitement, the director wrote, “As another November approaches, we are thrilled to make a comeback after four years with the heartwarming drama Philip’s. Moreover, @actormukeshmadhavan Mukeshettan is celebrating an incredible milestone of 300 films in his four-decade acting career. The teaser is now available, offering a glimpse of what's in store. It will be in theatres very soon, so stay tuned!”
The cast of Philip’s also includes Asha Madathil, Sreedhanya, Ansha Mohan, Charlie and Sacchin Nachi. They will be seen in supporting roles. The film’s music is composed by Hridayam fame Hesham Abdul Wahab. The comedy entertainer is written by Alfred and Mathukutty.
Mukesh’s upcoming projects
The Malayalam actor was last seen in the Fahadh Faasil-starrer Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum. Next, he will be seen in Ottakkomban, Virunnu and Iyer Kanda Dubai. All these films are in the production stage.
