A glimpse into Bala's life and his difficulties in following his dream is provided in the one-minute-and-54-second video. The man, who comes from a middle-class household, wants to be a popular hero in Tamil cinema. But his twenty years of labour are in vain. In the meantime, the trailer portrays his mother and friends as his pillars of support throughout these difficult times. It seems that Riyas Khan plays the antagonist in this movie. The clip undoubtedly teases both humorous and poignant moments between the main protagonists.

On September 27, the family entertainer is scheduled to premiere on big screens.Shankar directed Prabhu Deva in the 1994 film Kadhalan, which featured the well-known and hit song- Petta Rap. Moviegoers are curious to see if the actor will be as lucky with the title this time around.
The first-look poster for Petta Rap was announced earlier this year. Recently, a song and a teaser for the movie were also released. The sneak peek suggests a fun-filled family entertainment with lots of dancing, music, and action sequences. The actor most recently starred in Thalapathy Vijay-starrer Venkat Prabhu's action film, The Greatest Of All Time (G.O.A.T.). The movie released in theatres on September 5.
Kalabhavan Shajohn, Bagavathi Perumal, Ramesh Thilak, Mime Gobi, and Vivek Prasanna are among the supporting cast members of Petta Rap. D Imman composed the music for the movie. The cinematography was handled by Jithu Damodhar and the editing by San Lokesh. Dinil PK penned the movie's script. Under the auspices of Blue Hill Films and Blue Hill Nael Communication, Jobi P Sam provided the film's funding.
