After the grand 81st Golden Globe Awards, now People's Choice Awards have dropped their much-awaited nominations. Celebrating the entertainment industry's biggest stars through the eyes of their fans, the People's Choice Awards have been honouring the stars since 1975. From the early days of Gallup polls to the current online voting system, it has consistently reflected the pulse of popular culture.
People's Choice Awards 2024 nominations
On January 11, People's Choice Awards unveiled its nominations for the 49th edition. From Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour, Beyonce's Renaissance World Tour, Ed Sheeran’s Mathematics (+-=÷x) Tour, Coldplay Music, Harry Styles’ Love On Tour, Pink Summer Carnival, to Morgan Wallen’s One Night at a Time Tour, the award ceremony have channelled the way for fans voting.

Golden Globes 2024 winners
For the unversed, Cillian Murphy has won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in Drama Motion Picture and Robert Downey Jr. won Golden Globe for Best Supporting in Motion Picture for Oppenheimer. Emma Stone won Golden Globe for Best Actress in Musical or Comedy for Poor Things, and Lily Gladstone won Golden Globe for Best Actress in Drama Motion Picture for Killers of the Flower Moon.

People's Choice Awards 2024 will premiere on NBC, Peacock and E! on February 18, at 8 pm E and 5 pm PT.
Other nominations
The nominations for Social Celebrity include Britney Spears, Dwayne Johnson, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, and Taylor Swift. This category honours those celebrities, who have made huge headlines on social media, and have always made chart topping news throughout the whole year.
Nominations for The Athlete of the Year category include Leonel Messi, Coco Gauff, Travis Kelce, Stephen Curry, Simone Biles, Sabrina Ionescu, LeBorn James, and Giannis Antetokpunompu. This category honours the most influential athletes throughout the year.
