Pavi Caretaker Box Office Collection Day 1: The Dileep starrer, which is helmed by actor-director Vineeth Kumar, has made a decent opening by collecting around Rs. 1 crore in Kerala.
Pavi Caretaker Box Office Collection Day 1: Dileep teamed up with actor-director Vineeth Kumar for his latest outing in Malayalam cinema. The movie, which is a romantic comedy-drama, has been receiving mixed reviews from both audiences and critics. However, despite not having massive pre-release hype or fully positive audience reactions, Pavi Caretaker has managed to make a decent opening at the worldwide box office.
According to the recent updates from the trade experts, Pavi Caretaker, which hit theatres on April 26, 2024, has made a decent opening at the box office by making around Rs. 1.4 crore from its worldwide collection. The Dileep starrer has collected around Rs. 1 crore from the Kerala box office alone on its release. It is indeed a decent box office collection for the movie, which had minimal hype surrounding it and was released on the legislative assembly elections day in Kerala.

While considering the opening day collection, Pavi Caretaker has all the possibilities to perform even better on Day 2 and Day 3, which is also the film’s first Saturday and Sunday at the theatres. However, the future of the Dileep starrer at the box office can only be predicted after its first Monday at the theatres. Recent updates from trade experts suggest that the Vineeth Kumar directorial might put an end to Janapriyanayakan’s prolonged low phase in the industry.

Notably, the Vishu 2024 releases, including Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham and Vineeth Sreenivasan's directorial Varshangalkku Shesham, are continuing their dominance at the box office, especially in Kerala. Especially, the Jithu Madhavan directorial is leading with a massive margin and has over 350 screens across the state. Dileep’s romantic comedy-drama has clearly been unable to take over the Vishu releases, with both its collection and theatre count. However, unlike his previous releases, the Vineeth Kumar directorial is receiving the support of the actor’s fans.
