Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has been in the film industry for a long time now. The actress, currently seen in Patna Shuklla, has revealed if she ever faced judgments or was asked to tone down her assertive nature in real life. The actress stated that she has been called 'aggressive' for saying things assertively. She also mentioned when women give their opinions, they are labelled aggressive in general.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Raveena Tandon opened up about facing judgments because of her way of saying things assertively. "Just because I want to say something, and I'm saying it assertively, you label me as aggressive. So, that is something I have probably heard in real life as well," she told the entertainment portal.
The actress added that she does have an opinion about things and also believes in equality. Her co-star, Anushka Kaushik was also a part of the conversation and shared her thoughts on the topic. "Even as directors, if there's a female director or let's say a female boss, you'll be like 'bohot hi jyada khadoos hai' but I think if your boss is male, you're ready to take his orders," said Kaushik.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Raveena Tandon's film Patna Shuklla has been released on Disney+ Hotstar. The actress plays the role of lawyer Tanvi Shuklla in the movie, directed by Vivek Budakoti. Her film sheds light on the education scams happening in the country. The film dropped today on the streaming platform.
Before Patna Shuklla was released on the OTT platform, Raveena was seen in Karmma Calling, a web show that premiered on the same streaming platform. The actress played a pivotal role in the series alongside Varun Sood and Namrata Sheth.
