The Shah Rukh Khan movie continues to set records after opening at a whopping Rs 107 crore at the global box office. Pathaan earns 400 crore rupees at the global box office in just four days.
Pathaan had a gross domestic collection of Rs 166 crore and a global collection of Rs 316 crore as of Friday (January 27). Early projections indicate that the movie will earn about $6 million (Rs 49 crore) overseas, bringing its global total to more than Rs 420 crore. This makes the King Khan-starring movie the fastest Bollywood movie to join the exclusive Rs 400 crore club globally.
Pathaan is anticipated to make between Rs 50 and Rs 55 crore at the domestic box office today. The movie will easily reach the Rs 200 crore threshold if it succeeds in doing so.
Shah Rukh Khan plays an exiled RAW agent tasked with stopping a nuclear assault on India that is being plotted by a private terrorist organisation in Siddharth Anand's spy thriller. Deepika Padukone plays an ISI spy in the movie, and John Abraham plays a former RAW agent who is plotting a nuclear assault on India. The film is backed by Yash Raj Films.
