Pathaan to premiere tonight on Indian television, Shah Rukh Khan says to fans, ‘make your weekend dhamakedaar

For the first time ever, Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan is all set to land on the television screens near you.

From winning the hearts of the people to breaking box office records – the makers of the film Pathaan have seen it all. Recently, the action thriller smashed all box office records by minting over ₹1,050.3 crores worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of 2023, the second-highest grossing Hindi film of all time, the fifth-highest grossing Indian film of all time and the eleventh-highest grossing movie of 2023.

Pathaan features megastar Shah Rukh Khan alongside superstars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in key roles. Not only this, but the film also features megastar Salman Khan making a cameo appearance and sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan for roughly about 10 minutes.

In May, the makers of the film released the film on Amazon Prime and added a scoop of deleted scenes in it. This movie, too, is also one of the most watched films on the said OTT platform.

And now, the blockbuster is all set to hit the small screens today. Pathaan’s World TV Premiere will take place on Star Gold today at 8 PM. Shah Rukh Khan, too, urged his fans and well-wishers to watch this film today on television.

In a tweet today, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Pathaan, Party aur Pataakhe! A perfect combo to make your weekend dhamakedaar. Watch the #WorldTVPremiere of #Pathaan tonight at 8PM, only on @StarGoldIndia #PathaanOnStarGold @deepikapadukone @TheJohnAbraham #SiddharthAnand @yrf” He even attached a still from the film. This tweet has been retweeted by thousands of people so far.

Recently, as an ode to Shah Rukh Khan and Yash Raj Films’ highest-grossing film worldwide Pathaan’s World TV Premiere on Star Gold, fans of Shah Rukh Khan decided to come together for a mega event befitting the scale of the movie. They planned to recreate the iconic Shah Rukh Khan’s pose aiming to create a Guinness World Record for ‘Most people performing the Shah Rukh Khan Pose simultaneously.’

Pathaan was released in theatres on January 25, 2023.
