​Pathaan star Shah Rukh Khan calls Jawan director Atlee, 'mass and hardworking'

​Jawan will mark the Bollywood debut of the popular Tamil director

​​Pathaan star Shah Rukh Khan has been quite active on social media these days. In yet another #AskSRK session, in which the Baadshah of Bollywood chatted with his fans, he was asked about his thoughts on his upcoming film, Jawan's director Atlee. To which Shah Rukh Khan replied that Atlee was mass and hardworking. He wrote, "He is a mad mass director and very hard working. His wife and him are lovely (sic)."​

An elated Atlee soon thanked the actor and said that when it came to hardwork Shah Rukh Khan was the king. He also added that he was eagerly waiting to watch Pathaan. Atlee wrote, "Sir love you sir Wen it comes to hard work ur the king in it sir , u respect audience and fans more than anything , so the hard work u put in each film is unmatchable I am blessed to have seen that closely sir , can’t wait to watch Pathan chieffffffff (sic)." Atlee's Jawan will have Nayanthara playing the leading lady and Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music and the trio will mark their Bollywood debuts with the film.

The action thriller is said to have Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role. The star cast includes SRK, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu. Deepika Padukone is making a special appearance in the film, In the meantime, the buzz is that Varisu star Vijay will be seen in a cameo as well. And the rumours have only gotten stronger after Vijay released the Tamil trailer of Pathaan.

Pathaan is a spy action thriller in which Shah Rukh Khan plays the titular character. The film has Deepika Padukone as the leading lady and John Abraham as the prime antagonist. The rest of the star cast includes Ashutosh Rana, Dimple Kapadia, Gautam Rode, Gavie Chahal, Shaji Choudary and Salman Khan in a cameo.​
