The Delhi High Court gave Yash Raj Films (YRF) Production instructions to alter Pathaan after the film's trailer debuted last week. According to a recent report, the court ordered the production firm to include "subtitles, closed captioning, and audio description in Hindi" so that people who are hard of hearing or who are blind can watch the movie on OTT platforms. It has asked YRF to send the new material to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for re-certification.

Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana play the key characters in Siddharth Anand's Pathaan. On January 25, 2023, it is scheduled to open in theatres in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.

Bar and Bench say that the court told the producers to give the information by February 20. Additionally, it mandated that the CBFC choose by March 10. The court made no recommendations regarding how Pathaan should be screened in theatres when it opens on January 25.

The movie will start streaming on Prime Video in April, according to the report. So, the judge said that the changes could be made by the producers. In regards to Pathaan's theatrical distribution, the court declined "to pass any direction."

The Pathaan team just showed the public the official trailer for the movie, which got a very enthusiastic response. In the two-and-a-half-minute clip, John Abraham plays a dangerous enemy who is planning a big attack in India, while Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone play spy agents protecting India.

In the trailer, the mercenary group Outfit X, which was led by John Abraham, was shown causing trouble and warning that Indian land was about to be invaded. Pathaan an Indian spy, has been brought back as a response. In the next scene, Shah Rukh's spy makes a daring break out of jail with all guns blazing.

The narrative then shifts to several foreign locations and introduces Deepika's character, who teams up with Shah Rukh to take out John's terrorist organisation. In the last part of the teaser, director Siddharth gives a sneak peek of the exciting action scenes that will be in the movie.

Shah Rukh recently attended the Pathaan trailer premiere at Dubai's Burj Khalifa. Several fan clubs uploaded videos and images from the scene. Shah Rukh can be seen striking his trademark pose in front of the Burj Khalifa in one of the photos. He can be seen in another image studying the trailer that is projected onto the building. Additionally, he was spotted swaying his leg to the tune of Jhoome Jo Pathaan.
