Pathaan continues to create history by reopening 25 theatres, Shah Rukh Khan recalls watching movies on single screens

Shah Rukh Khan's stardom and the excitement surrounding Pathaan may bring forth a new era for the theatre industry, which suffered during the pandemic.

Aditya Chopra's ambitious spy world includes Pathaan, which stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, three of the nation's top actors. The action movie Pathaan, by Yash Raj Films, is scheduled for release on January 25, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Now, given the unprecedented buzz and hype surrounding the movie, several single-screen theatres that closed due to COVID-19 will reopen with Pathaan.

Pathaan star Shah Rukh Khan shared of list of these 25 theatres that are re-opening. "Bachpan mein saare filmein single screens par hi dekhi hain. Uska apna hi maza hai. Duas, prarthna aur prayers karta hoon… aap sabko aur mujhe kaamyaabi mile (Growing up I only watched films in single screens. It is uniquely enjoyable. I pray that you and I both are successful). Congratulations on your re-openings," SRK tweeted.
