Parvathy Thiruvothu begins shooting for her webseries debut Dootha with Naga Chaithanya, Priya Bhavani Shankar

Malayalam actress Parvathy Thiruvothu, who was part of the Netflix anthology Navarasa last year, is all set for her web series debut along with Naga Chaithanya in Dootha.
The web series, which is expected to drop on Amazon Prime Video, is helmed by 24 and Manam director Vikram Kumar and is touted to be a supernatural thriller. Chaithanya, who will also be making his web series debut with Dootha, had earlier revealed that he will be playing a role with negative shades in the series, which also has Tamil actress Priya Bhavani Shankar as part of the cast.
Priya, who was part of Kadaikutty Singam and Oh Manapenne!, had shared a photo of Parvathy along with team on her Instagram page, writing that she has a lot of “respect and admiration” for the Malayalam star.
Parvathy, meanwhile, had made her OTT debut with Halal Love Story in 2020 in which she played a cameo. The film, directed by Zakariya and starring Indrajith Sukumaran and Grace Antony in the lead, was a direct-to-OTT release on Amazon Prime Video.
Last year, her 2018 anthology Sivaranjiniyum Innum Sila Pengalum finally had its OTT release on Sony LIV. The actress is also part of Ratheena’s Puzhu, which also has Mammootty in the lead. The movie is also rumoured to be a direct-to-OTT release on Sony LIV next month. Her film Varthamanam, which also has Roshan Mathew, is streaming on Manorama Max from March 11.
Meanwhile, Parvathy had last year told OTTplay she is also gearing up for his directorial debut soon. The Koode actress said that she had been on working on two directorials But due to the pandemic, the dates of the projects have been shuffled and she will first try and complete her acting assignments before starting work on her directorial, she said.
