Parudeesa song: Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi bust out the moves in the song from Bheeshma Parvam

Starring Mammootty in the lead role, Bheeshma Parvam is directed by Amal Neerad

Amal Neerad’s Bheeshma Parvam with Mammootty in the lead is one of the most anticipated Malayalam movies of the year. The makers have now released the official music video of the song Parudeesa which has already been a hit with the fans.

The four minute music video starts off with Soubin Shahir enjoying a beer at a gathering, before Sreenath Bhasi, who has sung the song, gets up on a stage and starts singing. Shahir can then be seen looking at a mural of 13 AD, a rock band from Fort Kochi, that was popular from the 1980’s.

As the song soon starts to gain momentum, Bhasi is seen breaking into a choreographed dance, and is soon followed by Shahir pulling out his own steps. While the early glimpse of the song caught the attention of the fans, the music video has already become a hit.

The song is written by Vinayak Sasikumar and is composed by Sushin Shyam while Bhasi sings it. Sushin Shyam is also the music director for the highly anticipated action drama.

Directed by Amal Neerad, this is the second time the director is working with the star. Neerad made his directorial debut with Mammootty’s Big B in 2007. The movie, which did only fairly well at the box office, later became a cult classic.

Anend C Chandran has handled the cinematography for Bheeshma Parvam while Vivek Harshan, a frequent collaborator with Neerad, is the editor.

Neerad’s last directorial was Varathan in 2018 with Fahadh Faasil and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead. He was also the cinematographer for the 2020 psychological thriller Trance.

Mammootty, who was seen in The Priest and One in 2021, has a number of movies in the works including Puzhu and CBI 5.
