Directed by Maneesh Sharma and written by Jaideep Sahni, the film was bankrolled by Aditya Chopra. Recently, the film celebrated its 11th anniversary and to celebrate the same Parineeti shared a nostalgic clip on her social media revealing she misses Sushant.
Parineeti Chopra took to her Instagram stories and re-shared a video made by a fan. She wrote: “Love this! Miss you Sushant." She also revealed that they had a lot of fun during the filming of this movie and wrote: "What fun we had on this one." The video features clips of scenes from Shuddh Desi Romance featuring Parineeti and Sushant Singh Rajput.

She also shared a video from the film featuring her and SSR. In the post, she reflected on the past 11 years, noting, “This takes me 11 years back; it will always be a special one.”
