Responding to a reporter while leaving the parliament, Raghav said, “Aap mujhse rajneeti ki sawal kariye Parineeti ke sawal na kariye.”
Parineeti is an alumna of the University of Manchester, while Raghav studied at London School of Economics. Amid dating rumours last month, a clip from an old interview went viral on the internet, in which Raghav hinted at his desire to get married, not confirming his preference for a love or an arranged marriage. During the show, Unfiltered with Samdish he said, “I am looking for marriage. Apke nazar mein koi ho toh bataye.”
On the other hand, an old interview of Parineeti was also doing the rounds on social media, where she had expressed her reluctance to marry a politician. “The problem is I don’t want to marry any politician. There are too many good options, but I don’t want to marry any politician ever,” she said during her interview with Bollywood Hungama.
Amid all this, the actress was also spotted visiting designer Manish Malhotra recently. Earlier, a report by India Today had claimed that Parineeti and Raghav have had their roka done, and are expected to get married by October. “Parineeti and Raghav are in no rush and they both have work commitments that they need to take care of before getting into the wedding festivities,” the news report read.
On the work front, Parineeti was last seen alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta and Sarika in Sooaj Barjatya’s Uunchai. The actress has also wrapped up shooting for her next film Chamkila starring Diljit Dosanjh.
