The teaser of Vikram Chatterjee-starrer Pariah, which is set to release in theatres on February 9, was unveiled on social media on Wednesday. Vikram in a post on his social media handles, shared the teaser and stated, “The history of the deprived has always been written with blood.”

It is an 80-second video that features a nameless, ostracized man standing up against the cruelty of native dogs in human society. Indian native dogs which also are known as Pariah have no home, no shelter, and no carer. The film delves into the life of a man who stands up for all the indie dogs. In the teaser, he says, “As much blood as they shed, as much blood as they have inflicted on them, they will be killed.”

Meanwhile, Dev shared the teaser and wrote, “This is the teaser of my brother Vikram Chatterjee’s Pariah. I hope everyone will like it.”

My film Pariah is a story of protest against injustice to these street animals,” says Tathagata Mukherjee.
