The iconic trio shot the teaser announcement a few days ago at a studio in Mumbai.
After months of casting troubles, everything is now completely fine in the realm of Hera Pheri. Fans of the hit comedy series were crushed when Akshay Kumar said he wouldn't be back as the street-smart Raju in the third movie. The actor's co-stars, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal were also dissatisfied with the news, so they worked with producer Firoz Nadiadwala to get him to agree. On Wednesday, the three actors finally saw each other again while making a teaser for Hera Pheri 3 in a Mumbai studio.
In the franchise, Paresh plays the clumsy Babu Bhaiyya, a character who has grown in popularity over the years. The veteran actor is excited to rejoin his on-screen partners-in-crime.
He told Mid Day that meeting them was like "ghar wapsi." Shooting with Akshay and Suniel is always enjoyable. They are brilliant actors who are confident in their abilities. They respect each other, and their on-screen chemistry is a reflection of their friendship off-screen.
Hera Pheri by Priyadarshan was a sleeper hit in 2000. It was a funny story about a landlord and his two poor tenants, who came up with a plan to get money quickly. The late Neeraj Vora advanced the series by directing Phir Hera Pheri (2006).
Paresh makes the suggestion that the three shady characters will pull off an international swindle this time around, as Farhad Samji will be directing the film. He told the tabloid that shooting would start in three months. Mumbai will have a full schedule. While Babu Bhaiyya, Raju, and Shyam travel abroad, the movie will also be filmed in international locations such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Los Angeles. They will carry out hera phiri all over the world.
Kartik Aaryan was cast as a new character in Hera Pheri 3 last year. Where does it leave Aaryan when the three original actors reprise their roles? To which Paresh replied that, as far as he is aware, Kartik and Akshay were both supposed to be in the movie at first, but things didn't work out. He has no idea what transpired.
