Paramporul teaser: Sarath Kumar comes up with another intriguing thriller, this time with Amithash

Sarath Kumar, who is on a roll with five films this year in Tamil, has half-a-dozen movies in his kitty. His last outing, the hit project, Por Thozil, is yet to drop on OTT. On his birthday yesterday, the makers of one of his upcoming films, Paramporul, unveiled its teaser.

C Aravind Raj has helmed the project which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Produced by Manoj and Girish under Kavi Creations, the movie revolves around a notorious group that is into smuggling antique pieces. How they operate despite strong surveillance from cops forms the rest of the story.

Amithash, too, plays one of the leads in the movie which has Kashmira Pardeshi playing a notable role. Dinesh Subbarayan and Sathish Krishnan have handled action choreography and dance moves respectively. S Pandikumar cranked the camera while Nagooran Ramachandran handled the editing.

The team is expected to announce the release date of Paramporul later. According to sources, the movie will hit the screens this year. An excited Amithash took to Twitter to post, "Hope you guys are enjoying the #ParamporulTeaser :) lots of interesting stuff coming up from the film. And a massive NEVER SEEN before surprise very very soooon !! Trust me, it’s going to be crazyyyy…. Till then hope you like the teaser (sic)."

The team had surprised one and all by unveiling a hilarious promo video featuring musician Yuvan a while ago. Cinephiles hope that the movie would be another Por Thozil for Sarath Kumar.

The Smile Man, Samaran, Criminal, Nirangal Moondru and Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan are other forthcoming movies of the veteran actor who was seen in Varisu, Rudhran, Ponniyin Selvan 2 and Custody this year.
