Pappachan Olivilaanu, helmed by Sinto Sunny featuring Saiju Kurup in the lead role is to hit theatres on August 4. The film set in a rustic village backdrop is said to revolve around Pappachan, a shooter. Now the makers have released an animation video song of the film. The song features Pappachan, as an unskilled shooter who misses his targets frequently. At last, he misfires his gun causing an accident to another person. The video ends by showing Pappachan going into exile.

The song is animated by 'So New Ideas' and released through Manorama Music. Director Sinto has penned the lyrics of the song, which is composed by Ouseppachan. Child singers like Lakshya Kiran, Richukuttan, Aadhya Nair, Mukthitha Murukesh, and Sagarika have sung the song.

The trailer released earlier hints at a comedy entertainer, with Saiju Kurup essaying the role of Pothu Pappachan. In the trailer, Saiju Kurup is shown as a shooter who does illegal hunting and is summoned as an accused in court. The police and forest department are shown on Pappachan's tail, monitoring his actions.

In the first look poster released by the director, Saiju was seen holding a dead rabbit in one hand and a gun in the other.

Sinto was the associate of Jibu Jacob, who helmed movies like Vellimoonga and Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol.

The film features actors like Srinda, Vijayaraghavan, Aju Varghese, Jagadeesh, Prashanth Alexander, and Kottayam Nazeer. Vijayaraghavan will essay the role of Mathachan, Saiju's father.

Saiju Kurup has recently been seen in lead roles in Upacharapoorvam Gunda Jayan and Antakshari. Saiju's latest release was Janaki Jaane in which he acted alongside Navya Nair. The film revolves around a woman who suffers from a panic disorder.
