Leading Telugu OTT platform aha, which has come up with shows like Nenu Super Woman, Family Dhamaka recently, is all set to premiere another entertaining web series. Their next major release is Papam Pasivadu, a weekly episodic web show, headlined by actor, host and musician Sreerama Chandra. After the teaser and title track, the show’s trailer was unveiled today.
Papam Pasivadu is a coming-of-age tale that revolves around the highs and lows in the life of a confused 20s-something youngster. He falls in love with not one but three women and lands in trouble while struggling to find his true soulmate. He faces the wrath of cops, meets a godman, gets rejected by women and is quite unprepared for what life throws at him. Where’s the tale headed?

While one of the women breaks up with him before he wishes to go ahead with the relationship, another girl is in a hurry to plan her future with Kranthi in mind. The mess gets deeper with the involvement of parents and Kranthi finds himself trapped in a series of whacky scenarios. Papam Pasivadu appears a relatable show with a good dose of humour and appealing performances.
Rashi Singh, Sri Vidya Maharshi, Gayatri Chaganti, Madee, Ashok Kumar are the other actors in the show produced by Akhilesh Vardhan for The Weekend Show. The first episode of Papam Pasivadu will be out on aha on September 29. Gokul Bharathi is the cinematographer for the project which has music by Jose Jimmy. The title track was sung by Karthika Vaidyanathan and Aditya Rao Gangasani.
Sreerama Chandra has also acted in films like Jagadguru Adi Shankara, Prema Geema Jaantha Nai, MMOF and turned a show host with aha’s first season of Telugu Indian Idol in 2022. He also hosted the initial episodes of the streamer’s business reality show Nenu Super Woman recently. One of his major hits as a singer this year was O Rendu Prema Meghalila from Baby.
