Pankaj Tripathi, recently seen in Sherdil, will now cut back on projects. The actor said that he would appear in lesser films or web series, depending on the kind of work he has per year. There was a phase when Pankaj was working in back-to-back projects but he wants to cut down on those.
While talking to Zoom, the actor revealed that he would appear in lesser films hereon. He said that he wants to spend the money he has earned.
“I want to travel now. I like travelling,” he said. Pankaj revealed that the movies which released till the lockdown period were the ones he had shot for before 2019 (when the first lockdown was announced). The actor said that while he was working a lot back then, he now realizes that he doesn’t need to work so much.
“I should travel and explore other hobbies now. Acting is just my profession. My life is something else, right? I am a nature lover. I want to go farming. That is my life. Acting is just a way to sustain that life,” Pankaj Tripathi said in his interview.
While revealing about how many movies he would cut down on, the actor said that while he was working on nearly 10 films a year, he would now want to focus on three-four projects a year. He further reveals that he wants to take the step so that he can invest some time into his character a little more.
Recalling the time when he did back-to-back projects, Pankaj said that he would previously jump from one set to another. He would wrap up the shooting for one project and go on to the next set, understand his lines and give the take.
Now, the actor plans to shoot for one film, complete it, take a break for 10 days and then move on to the next project. “I used to be on a new set every weekend,” Pankaj recalled and cleared that is not how he wants to approach his career any further.
