Panchayat Seasons 1 and 2 were a hit amongst the audiences as well as the critics. Since season two ended, fans have been awaiting the third season with bated breath. The third season will also bring back Jitendra Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi. The show has garnered a massive fan following for its comedy and drama since the first season was released on Amazon Prime Video. Now, the makers have teased the release date for the third season.

Prime Video teases fans with the release date of Panchayat 3

The upcoming season of the show will be released on Amazon Prime Video just like the first two seasons. The platform teased on their social media about the release date of the show by sharing a video, they wrote: "cannot wait to know when Panchayat’s new season is dropping? head to the link in our bio and remove a lauki to know the date! #PanchayatOnPrime"

The cast of Panchayat 3

Apart from Jitendra Kumar, the cast of Panchayat 3 includes Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, and others. The new season promises another round of laughter with new twists and turns in the story of Phulera. As the makers are increasing the anticipation of the release date, if we go by the rumors, it is expected to be out in the middle of May.

What is the storyline of Panchayat?

In the first two seasons, the show's narrative revolves around Abhishek Tripathi, played wonderfully by Jitendra Kumar. He gets a placement in a small town named Phulera where he becomes Sachiv ji. Now as he starts getting adjusted to the surroundings of this village, there is a possibility that he might be transferred to some other place in the upcoming season. The third season is also expected to showcase the love angle between Abhishek and Sarpanch's daughter, Rinky. As the first two seasons of Panchayat were successful, fans have high expectations from Season 3.
