Palm Royale OTT release date and trailer – The show is an upcoming upper-class dramedy with the intrusion of a stubborn Kristen Wiig who is determined to carve her niche in Palm Beach high society.

Palm Royale, previously titled Mrs American Pie, is an upcoming series written and executively produced by showrunner Aby Sylvia. She is joined by Big Little Lies actress Laura Dern and Jayme Lemons in executive production of the show. The 10-episode show will premiere with three episodes in March, before dropping an episode weekly, till May.

Palm Royale is an Apple TV+ original and will stream on the platform March 20, 2024, onward. The dramedy dropped its trailer yesterday and it has been nothing less than an amusing view of the rich from the perspective of an outsider desperate for entry and acceptance among the exclusive. Maxine has only been in Palm Beach for two weeks, but she already knows that she belongs at Palm Royale, the “most exclusive club in the world” as dubbed by the trailer.

The trailer shows glimpses of her desperate attempts to please the bored and the rich, from Evelyn, the club’s Queen Bee to Laura Dern’s Linda, a wealthy club member, all of which fail awkwardly and stupendously. But her consistency is her boon, and she soon finds it in her to make it to the top, be it by inculcating the required social etiquette or blackmailing the members for their closely guarded secrets.

The show stars the talented likes of Kristen Wiig as the protagonist Maxine and Ricky Martin’s Robert, an observant club employee, along with Allison Janney as Evelyn the club Queen Bee, Leslie Bibb as Dinah, Laura Dern as Linda, Carol Burnett as Norma, and Amber Chardae Robinson’s Virginia. Palm Royale also features Josh Lucas, Kaia Gerber, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy and Bruce Dern in prominent roles.
