Zee Studios and Aarambh Entertainment present the series, which features Mrinal Kulkarni as Godavari and Eisha Singh as her self-reliant daughter Kaveri and is directed by Gajendra Ahire. Paithani, which premieres on November 15, deftly examines the importance of tradition, perseverance, and the link shared by daughters and their mothers. Paithani plot overview

Paithani is based on the life of Godavari, a weaver specialising in traditional Paithani sarees and a revered mother figure. Her dogged daughter, Kaveri, provides her with strength as she confronts the end of her spectacular career, marked by tremors in her hand. As a sincere way to pay tribute to her mother's legacy, Kaveri intends to give her the last saree that Godavari creates. Is Kaveri's mission doomed to fail?
