The film was earlier scheduled to re-release on January 24, 2025, but it seems it has been postponed. This will give viewers another opportunity to witness the grandeur of this cinematic masterpiece in a theatre. Padmaavat is touted to be one of the most aesthetically beautiful and financially successful films in Indian cinema, boasting a stellar cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor.

In an attempt to apprehend the stunning Queen Padmavati, a despot sultan and his army launched an assault on a wealthy kingdom in mediaeval India. Maharawal Ratan Singh, her devoted husband, gathers his brave soldiers to protect their homeland and his loving wife's dignity.
