Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmaavat will re-release in theatres on February 6, 2025, to celebrate its seventh anniversary. The film was earlier scheduled to re-release on January 24, 2025, but it seems it has been postponed. This will give viewers another opportunity to witness the grandeur of this cinematic masterpiece in a theatre. Padmaavat is touted to be one of the most aesthetically beautiful and financially successful films in Indian cinema, boasting a stellar cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor.

Epic tale of Queen Padmavati

The Rani, known for her beauty and courage, is the subject of this film, which draws inspiration from Malik Muhammad Jayasi's poem Padmavat to tell her story. Critical praise and a devoted fan base were the results of Bhansali's avant-garde direction and sumptuous production design, which captivated viewers around the world.

Sultan Allaudin Khilji, of Hindustan, hears rumours about her stunning beauty.

In an attempt to apprehend the stunning Queen Padmavati, a despot sultan and his army launched an assault on a wealthy kingdom in mediaeval India. Maharawal Ratan Singh, her devoted husband, gathers his brave soldiers to protect their homeland and his loving wife's dignity.
