Padachone Ingalu Kaatholee is a comedy-drama helmed by Bijith Bala starring Sreenath Bhasi Ann Sheetal, Grace Antony, Hareesh Kanaran, and Johny Antony. Sunny Wayne also plays a cameo role in the film bankrolled by Josekutty Madathil and Ranjith Manambarakkat. Padachone Ingalu Kaatholee which was released in the theatres on November 22 will be available to stream on Saina Play from August 22. The film is a satirical comedy that revolves around party politics in Northern Kerala and superstitions prevailing in society.

What is Padachone Ingalu Katholee about?

The film revolves around the life of Dinesan, a schoolteacher. He is also an ardent left follower born in a party village situated in Northern Kerala. Dinesan who adheres to communist values is very progressive in his life and has implemented ideas like gender-neutral uniforms in his school. But the life of Dinesan takes a drastic turn when a girl who believes in astrology comes to his life as his lover. The film is made in such a way that it appeals to the family audience giving emphasis on humour. Padachone Ingalu Kaatholee also deals with the recent political developments in Kerala. Even though the film tries to talk about the conventional backward views of society, It is more of a comedy film.

The performance of Grace Antony stands out from other actors in the film as she convincingly pulls off the character of a left-wing party worker.

Scripted by Pradeep Kumar Kuvumthara, the music of the film is composed by Shaan Rahman. Vishnu Prasad has done the cinematography of Padachone Ingalu Kaatholee, while the editing is done by Kiran Das who is known for his works in Rorschach, Ishq, and Thondi Muthalum Driksakshiyum.
