Paatal Lok is one of the most loved dark crime thrillers. Starring Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Banerjee, Neeraj Kani, Swastika Mukherjee, Anindita Bose, and others, the plot revolves around Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary (Jaideep Ahlawat), a bored cop from Delhi who wants to find an interesting case where four people are arrested by the Delhi police. The show consists of 9 episodes in total. Now, the makers have announced that the show will return with Season 2 and shared a new poster.

Pataal Lok Season 2 announced

On December 13, Amazon Prime Video announced the new season of Paatal Lok with a captivating poster featuring Jaideep Ahlawat. In the poster, Jaideep's eyes can be seen facing a knife.

Sharing the poster, they captioned, "Using our hammer to break the internet #PaatalLokOnPrime, New Season, Coming Soon"

Fans react

Reacting to the announcement, one fan wrote, "Release date????" Another commented, "CANT WAIT! BEST SERIES EVER." A third fan shared, "jdli kro soon kya mrne k baad aayega." "Finalllly the wait is over," another comment read.

Paatal Lok plot

The series follows Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary (Jaideep Ahlawat). He is a cop from Delhi who is keen on finding an interesting case where four people are arrested by the Delhi police.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner of Police was charged with murdering Sanjeev Mehra (Neeraj Kani). Finally one day an interesting case comes to him which is high-profile. The series goes on a dark mystery track where Inspector Chaudhary has to uncover the dark and sinister realm of the underworld to solve the case. The whole case helps him find his own identity as a cop and his responsibilities as one.

The plot of this gripping thriller series revolves around Tarun Tejpal's book, The Story of My Assassins, which details the five men who tried to kill him.

The show has a talented cast including Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi, Abhishek Banerjee, Jagjeet Sandhu, Aasif Khan, and Mairembam Ronaldo Singh.
