Outlander has moved into its sixth season, which will be out on Starz on March 6. In India, all five seasons of Outlander can be streamed on Netflix.

A prequel series of historical drama show Outlander is in the pipeline at US network Starz, also the creator of the original.
According to Variety Outlander executive producer and showrunner Matthew B Roberts will write and executive producer. The makers are assembling a group of writers to develop the show.
Ronald D Moore, who developed the original series, based on the ongoing novels by Diana Gabaldon, will also executive produce with Maril Davis under their Tall Ship Productions banner. Sony Pictures Television is attached as the studio.
Variety writes that the plot details of the prequel series is currently under wraps.
The news of the new show comes at the heels of Giaboldon's announcement of writing a novel that will focus on Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, the parents of Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan), Outlander's male protagonist.
Outlander has now moved into its sixth season, which will be out on Starz on March 6. It will pick from where the predecessor left and will see "Claire and Jamie’s fight to protect those they love, as they navigate the trials and tribulations of life in colonial America," reports Deadline. The series has been renewed for Season 7.
