'Our baby coming soon': Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt announce pregnancy

In surprising news, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have announced pregnancy. The couple, who tied the knot in April this year, are all set to expand their family by welcoming a new member. Alia took to her Instagram page and shared a candid photo with Ranbir in which both are rejoicing while looking at the sonography screen. Along with that, the actor shared a photo of the lion family confirming her pregnancy.

Alia captioned her post as "Our baby ….. coming soon."

At the recently held Shamshera trailer launch, Ranbir spoke about making the best decision by marrying Alia. He had said that, aside from movies, this had been a big year for him because he got married. The actor has long maintained that instead of rice and dal, we need "tangdi kebab".

But with experience, RK could state that nothing is finer than dal chawal. He could not have wished for a better life partner than Alia and said that she is "tadka" in "dal chawal," the "achar" with it, and she is everything.

Alia was referred to by Ranbir as the "tadka" in his life, "everything," and the "best life partner" he could have hoped for.

On April 14, Alia Bhatt wed Ranbir Kapoor in a private ceremony. They only invited close family and friends to their wedding. At Ranbir's house in Mumbai, the pair were married.

The couple's upcoming movie, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva which is scheduled to come out on September 9, will shortly feature them together on the big screen. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and co-produced by Karan Johar under his home banner. 

Currently, Alia is in London, where she is shooting for her Hollywood debut, which features Gal Gadot in the lead role. The film is set to be a Netflix release.
