Mohit Raina has been known as Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev since he has been seen in the TV series of the same name. Apart from playing Lord Shiva in a few more television shows, in 2019, the actor played a key role in the Vicky Kaushal starrer war-action film Uri: The Surgical Strike.

In a recent chat with OTTplay, the actor spoke about his upcoming web series Mumbai Diaries 26/11 that also stars Konkona Sensharma, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Tina Desai in pivotal roles. Mohit, who is a big fan of old classic Hindi films, recommended a few films from his watchlist to the fans.

The 1957 film is said to be based on humanistic psychology and has been awarded multiple national and international accolades including the Golden Globe Award in 1959.

The Guru Dutt starrer, directed and produced film is romantic and tragedic tale of a famous film director and a young actress. Kaagaz Ke Phool which is popularly considered to be much ahead of its time, has bagged a cult status globally. It also stars Waheeda Rehman, Johnny Walker, Mehmood and Tun Tun.

The Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri starrer black comedy film deals with multiple serious topics like Indian politics, corruption, news media and business in a humorous way. The Kundan Shah directorial also features Pankaj Kapur, Satish Shah, Satish Kaushik, Bhakti Barve and Neena Gupta in pivotal roles.
