The plot of August 16, 1947, directed by NS Ponkumar, is set in a secluded fictional village in Tamil Nadu, where the people are unaware of the fact that India has got independence from the British. When a local youngster decides to fight for freedom, things turn quickly. The film, directed by NS Ponkumar, is bankrolled by AR Murugadoss and the star cast includes Gautham Karthik, Pugazh, Jason Shah, Richard Ashton and Revathy Sharma.

Corona Papers
Director Priyadarshan’s crime thriller revolves around incidents that transpire between a bunch of cops and robbers, after a police gun is stolen. The plot is inspired by Akira Kurosawa’s Stray Dog and Sri Ganesh's Tamil film, 8 Thottakal. Corona Papers features Shane Nigam, Shine Tom Chacko, Siddique, Jean Paul Lal and Gayathrie Shankar.

Oh My Darling
Alfred D Samuel's film revolves around Joel, a carefree youngster, whose life turns topsy turvy after he discovers that his girlfriend is pregnant. And that's not all. Match Fixing
Directed by E Satti Babu, Matchfixing is a comedy which revolves around two youngsters -Abhijeeth and Viswant- who try every trick in the book to woo women. This action comedy drama, written and directed by Ramesh Kaduri, revolves around an honest police officer, who wants his son to follow suit and make a difference.
