Oru Thekkan Thallu Case: Biju Menon-Nimisha Sajayan starrer wraps up shoot

The movie also witnesses the return of actor Padmapriya after a long gap

Oru Thekkan Thallu case has more than one reason to cheer up on. Besides the movie being scripted from G R Indugopan’s short story Amminipilla Vettu Case, it also stars many promising actors of Mollywood.

The makers recently announced their shoot wrap, which suggests that the movie is one more step closer to its release. Sharing a picture of the team on Instagram, Production Manager Shafi Chemmad wrote, “04-02-22. ‘Oru Thekkan Thallu Case’ shooting completed at Udupi.”

Actor Biju Menon had announced the movie last year, with an intriguing first look poster. It featured stellar actors including Biju, Roshan Mathew, Padmapriya and Nimisha Sajayan in their character sketches. Seeing these names together is definitely an element of excitement, as we already know what each of them are capable of.

The return of actor Padmapriya after a long pause has also given the audiences rays of hope. Meanwhile, Roshan and Nimisha have impressed the industry with many of their outstanding movies. Roshan is best known for Moothon, C U Soon, Kappela and Kuruthi, while Nimisha for The Great Indian Kitchen, Nayattu, Malik and Chola. Biju, the senior actor is a constant name in the industry for many years as well.

Helmed by debutant Sreejith N, Oru Thekkan Thallu Case is produced by Mukesh R Mehta and C V Sarathi under the banner of E4 Entertainment. Talking about the film to TOI, Sreejith had revealed that it will be a drama which has a bit of humour in it. He also spilled beans about the storyline and said it is a period movie set in the backdrop of the eighties, and the story idea and character arcs will be the same as the short story.
