Oru Bharatha Sarkar Ulpannam – Theatrical release of this Gouri G Kishan-starrer postponed to THIS date

The makers of the latest Malayalam film, Oru Bharatha Sarkar Ulpannam, confirmed that its theatrical release has been postponed. The social drama, which was earlier slated to hit the big screen on March 1, will release on March 8. Subish Sudhi, Gouri G Kishan, and Aju Varghese are appearing in lead roles in this movie.

The supporting cast of Oru Bharatha Sarkar Ulpannam includes Jaffer Idukki, Vineeth Vasudev, Shelly, Vijay Babu, Lal Jose, and Darsana S Nair. T V Renjith is making his directorial debut with this social drama.

The film is produced by T V Krishnan, Renjith Jaganathan, and K C Raghunathan under the banner of Bhavani Productions. The writer of the screenplay is Nizam Rawther.

Ansar Shah has been in charge of the camera work, while Jithin D K is the editor. Oru Bharatha Sarkar Ulpannam's soundtracks have been composed by Ajmal Hasbulla. Anvar Ali and Vaisakh Sugunan wrote the songs' lyrics.

A social drama that tackles a subject that is still taboo in our culture is hinted at in the trailer. The two-minute clip gives viewers a look at the entire cast and plot of the film.

According to the trailer, the hilarious turn of events in the film centres on a male vasectomy initiative that is carried out in a panchayat as part of the National Population Control Mission. It also suggests a serious undercurrent to the film, given the court cases pertaining to this subject.

It turns out that Gouri's character is employed by the initiative and is in charge of convincing the men in this panchayat to undergo this surgery. She can be seen persuading Subish's character to undergo the surgery. The movie also addresses the stigma attached to married couples without children.

The movie's teaser, released earlier this month, suggested a story about birth control awareness in rural communities. Gouri G Kishan appears to be a government employee tasked with informing people about male-specific birth control options in the song Aake Thaarumaarithu.
