In a rare instance, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a hit. The movie got the hit status after its Box Office collections on first Monday. The movie has minted over Rs. 55 crores already, which is a new high or a Hollywood film released in India.

Oppenheimer, according to a report on Box Office India, is a hit on its way to become a superhit. The film, helmed by Nolan, will reach Rs. 70 crore mark and might even hit the iconic Rs. 100 crore mark at the Box Office.

The movie’s maximum collection is, as one can expect, from its English version. The movie has also released in Hindi.

Oppenheimer had a fairly good start at the Box Office. The movie earned Rs. 14.5 crores on its opening day.

The Saturday and Sunday Box Office collections for this film were stable. The movie earned Rs. 17 crores at the Box Office on each day.

The big surprise came on Monday. Despite the weekday, Oppeneheimer did not see a steep drop in its Box Office collections. Barbie, which clashed with the film, had almost 50% drop on Monday. That is not the case with Nolan’s film featuring Cilian Murphy in the lead role.

On Monday, the movie saw a slight decline and still managed to mint Rs. 7 crores. Thus, Oppenheimer has earned Rs. 55.50 crores at the Box Office so far.

The film is on its way to becoming one of the biggest superhits in Hollywood which released in India this year. The movie had a better Box Office than even Fast X and Mission Impossible 7.
