Operation Valentine, starring Varun Tej and Manushi Chillar in the leading roles, is a patriotic film on aerial attacks inspired by true events. The film has finally received a solo release.
Operation Valentine marks the directorial debut of VFX aficionado, cinematographer and ad filmmaker Shakti Pratap Singh Hada. The film had been suffering delays since December 2023 regarding its release date. The last declared date, featured in the official teaser had been February 16, 2024, which got delayed again.
This was, perhaps, due to its release date clash with Sundaram Master or Hrithik Roshan's Fighter’s slow reception, which is also a patriotic film on aerial strikes and battles. Operation Valentine, starring Varun Tej and Manushi Chillar is set for a solo theatrical release in Telugu and Hindi on March 1, 2024.
The news was declared a while ago by movie critic Taran Adarsh, who revealed and confirmed more details. The film is produced by Sony Pictures International Productions and Sandeep Mudda of Renaissance Pictures.

Co-produced by Vakil Khan’s God Bless Entertainment and Nandakumar Abbineni, the film is based on true events and promises an intriguing aviation drama. The teaser for Operation Valentine was released on December 18, 2023, and it showed a firsthand peek at the great VFX and iconic cinematography that the film assures.
Though the plot is not particularly unique, the romance and potentially sizzling chemistry between Manushi Chillar and Varun Tej is beckoning indeed. The film declares its intention of being an edge-of-the-seat entertainer that showcases the risks and challenges faced by our Air Force heroes regularly as they embark on risky missions and attacks to protect us.

The film’s teaser also wishes to cement the fact that India is equally the nation of Subhas Chandra Bose, as it is the nation of Mahatma Gandhi. Operation Valentine is speculated to being based on the 2019 Balakot retaliatory aerial attacks by India as a response to the Pulwama attack on Valentines Day of the same year.
