Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre will see Jason Statham reunite with director Guy Ritchie
The Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre poster and photos from the movie gives a look into Jason Statham’s upcoming spy thriller. The movie, which is written and directed by Guy Ritchie, will see Statham reunite with the director.
With the movie getting ready for a release in months time, the poster was shared on social media by Aubrey Plaza. The poster and photos from the movie were accompanied by the news about the trailer for the movie, which will drop on Thursday.
Statham will play the titular spy in Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre and will be alongside Josh Hartnett as Danny Francesco, Aubrey Plaza, Bugzy Malone, Cary Elwes and Hugh Grant in the movie.
The movie will follow Statham’s super spy Orson Fortune, as he teams up with Hollywood star Danny Francesco in an undercover mission to prevent billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds from selling dangerous arms to the wrong people.
The story for the movie has been co-written by Ritchie along with Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies.
The upcoming spy thriller will mark the fifth collaboration between Statham and writer-director Guy Ritchie. The duo previously worked in movies like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Revolver and Wrath of Man.

Guy Ritchie, who became a fan favourite for making fast-paced movies with his narrative style, has gone back to his trademark style since directing the live action feature Aladdin.
Statham was also last seen in Rithcie’s Wrath of Man which was received with mixed reactions from the fans, but was praised for the action sequences.
