Ooru Peru Bhairavakona started with poor reviews but the audience liked the film as the occupancy is quite good this weekend.

Ooru Peru Bhairavakona is talented actor Sundeep Kishan's latest release that has caught the imagination of one and all. The makers were quite confident about the film's outcome that they aired paid premieres two days in advance on February 14, 2024. The fantasy drama which released on Feb 16 made Rs 1.1 crore gross and started with a good release hype.

But the reviews of the film have been mixed and did not impress the critics much. But as there are not many other Telugu films, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona is seeing a good run at the box office. The Sundeep Kishan starrer has made a Rs 6 crore share in two days and is going quite strong on a key Sunday today.

The occupancy is almost 80% and the makers are also keeping the film in the news by regular theatre visits. Surprisingly, the film is also doing well in the US and has clocked $200k to date which is quite impressive. If the film clocks half a million in the US, it will be a great achievement for Sundeep Kishan.

The makers also revealed that Ooru Peru Bhairavakona will have its sequel at the end of the film. Replying to a fan, Sundeep confirmed the same. VI Anand has directed this film which has Kavya Thapar and Varsha Bollama as the female lead. The comedy evoked by Vennela Kishore and Viva Harsha is quite good and is attracting the audience to the theatres.

However, the film will be tested big time from tomorrow as the weekdays will start. The pre-release business has been done at a very low price and the makers are likely to be in the safe zone if the film performs the way it is doing now. Sekhar Chandra gave some hit songs for this film.

Anil Sunkara, who saw massive flops with Agent and Bholaa Shankar is quite revealed that the film has ended as a hit at the box office. Very soon, he will arrange a success meet and thank the audience. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
